Toll-Free Number
We have the right, but not the obligation, to establish and maintain a toll free telephone number for accepting and confirming customer orders nationwide, customer service and customer follow-up, and satisfaction surveys. If we establish a toll free number, you must comply with our procedures for implementing the nationwide service as we specify in the Operations Manual or otherwise in writing, and you may have to pay a fee related to the establishment, operation and maintenance of the toll free telephone number (see Item 6).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Mr. Sandless has the right, but not the obligation, to establish and maintain a toll-free number for various customer-related services. If Mr. Sandless does establish such a number, franchisees must comply with the procedures for its implementation as outlined in the Operations Manual or in writing.
The FDD indicates that franchisees "may have to pay a fee related to the establishment, operation and maintenance of the toll free telephone number." Item 6 of the FDD may contain more information about this fee.
In 2024, Mr. Sandless derived $277,344.28 (18%) of its total gross revenues of $1,516,126.42 from required franchisee purchases, including a toll-free number fee, among other fees and purchases. This demonstrates that a toll-free number fee has been collected from franchisees in the past.
