What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must execute and deliver documents that the franchisor deems necessary to accomplish the purposes of the Franchise Agreement. This requirement ensures that Mr. Sandless can adapt to changing business needs and legal requirements by requiring franchisees to formally acknowledge and agree to these changes.
Additionally, if a franchisee operates as a corporation or limited liability company, all shareholders, members, and managers must sign a Guaranty Agreement. This agreement ensures that these individuals are personally bound by the terms of the Franchise Agreement and guarantee the franchisee's obligations. Mr. Sandless also requires employees, contractors, or third parties with access to confidential information to execute covenants similar to those in Section 19.4 of the agreement.
Mr. Sandless also requires franchisees to agree to transfer interest in websites, social media, software accounts, electronic listings, telephone numbers, and telephone listings to the franchisor upon termination of the Franchise Agreement or at the franchisor's request. These stipulations in the Mr. Sandless Franchise Agreement ensure that franchisees remain compliant with the franchisor's operational requirements and protect the brand's interests.
