Upon the expiration, transfer or termination of this Agreement for any reason, you must cease using such telephone number(s) and listing(s), and assign same to us or our designee. Your Business must be serviced by a suitable telephone system in accordance with the Operations Manual and approved by us. You must answer the telephone in the manner set forth by us in the Operations Manual.
9.18 Anti-Terrorist Activities
You certify that neither you, nor your owners, principals, employees or anyone associated with you are listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13224. (The Annex is available at http://www.treasury.gov/offices/enforcement/ofac/sanctions/terrorism.html.) You agree not to hire or have any dealings with a person listed in the Annex. You certify that you have no knowledge or information that, if generally known, would result in you, your owners, principals, employees, or anyone associated with you being listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13224. You agree to comply with and/or assist us to the fullest extent possible in our efforts to comply with the Anti-Terrorism Laws (as defined below). In connection with such compliance, you certify, represent, and warrant that none of your property or interests
is subject to being "blocked" under any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws and that you and your owners or principals are not otherwise in violation of any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws.
You are solely responsible for ascertaining what actions must be taken by you to comply with all such Anti-Terrorism Laws, and you specifically acknowledge and agree that your indemnification responsibilities as provide

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Mr. Sandless Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws. As part of this compliance, the franchisee certifies that neither they, nor their owners, principals, employees, or anyone associated with them, are listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13224, which is available on the U.S. Department of Treasury website. The franchisee also agrees not to hire or have any dealings with individuals listed in the Annex.
Furthermore, the franchisee certifies that they have no knowledge or information that would lead to them, their owners, principals, employees, or associates being listed in the Annex. The franchisee agrees to comply with and assist Mr. Sandless in complying with Anti-Terrorism Laws, which are defined to include Executive Order 13224, the Terrorism Sanctions Regulations, the Foreign Terrorist Organizations Sanctions Regulations, the Cuban Assets Control Regulations, the USA PATRIOT Act, and all other relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
In connection with this compliance, the franchisee certifies, represents, and warrants that none of their property or interests is subject to being "blocked" under any Anti-Terrorism Laws and that neither they nor their owners or principals are in violation of any Anti-Terrorism Laws. The franchisee is solely responsible for determining the actions needed to comply with these laws and acknowledges that their indemnification responsibilities, as detailed in Section 19.4 of the agreement, pertain to their obligations under this section. Any misrepresentation or violation of Anti-Terrorism Laws can result in immediate termination of the agreement.
