Mr_Sandless Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The initial training program consists of approximately 2-5 days of training at our headquarters in Aston, Pennsylvania or with a franchisee of our choosing. The training will be conducted in the field, virutally or any other place as we may designate, and includes instruction in our policies and procedures. We hold training sessions whenever we have a new franchisee ready to be trained; we do not have a set training schedule (i.e., monthly or bi-monthly). You must satisfactorily complete the training program, including a brief phone sales class and short color test, before opening the Business, and your Designated Manager and Technical Manager must successfully complete the training program before assuming managerial responsibility. We do not charge tuition for you, your Designated Manager and Technical Manager to attend the initial training program (a maximum of three trainees). You must pay for all expenses you, your Designated Manager and Technical Manager incur during training, including lodging expenses for additional trainees, travel expenses, transportation and meals.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Mr. Sandless Franchise Disclosure Document, while Mr. Sandless does not charge tuition for the initial training program for the franchisee, their Designated Manager, and Technical Manager (up to three trainees), the franchisee is responsible for covering certain expenses. These expenses include lodging for any additional trainees beyond the initial three, as well as travel, transportation, and meal costs for all trainees attending the program. The training program lasts approximately 2-5 days and is held at the Mr. Sandless headquarters in Aston, Pennsylvania, or with a franchisee of their choosing.

Mr. Sandless may also require franchisees or their employees to attend further training programs or seminars, with the franchisee responsible for all personal expenses incurred during such training. This includes tuition, travel, lodging, meals, and applicable wages for both the franchisee and their trainees. Franchisees are also obligated to attend the Mr. Sandless franchisee convention, which occurs no more than annually, and must cover all associated expenses, including travel, lodging, and meals.

Prospective Mr. Sandless franchisees should carefully consider these training-related expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investment. It is important to factor in potential costs for additional training programs, seminars, and conventions, as these can add to the financial burden of operating the franchise. Understanding these obligations upfront will help franchisees budget effectively and avoid unexpected costs during their tenure with Mr. Sandless.
