What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a replacement designated manager must complete the approved training program within 60 days. Monicals Pizza requires that each franchise location be supervised daily by a designated manager who has successfully completed their training program.
This requirement ensures that all Monicals Pizza locations maintain a consistent standard of operation and service. If a franchisee replaces their designated manager, the new manager must attend and complete the training program to the franchisor's satisfaction.
While Monicals Pizza does not charge a fee for the new manager to attend the training program, unless manager changes are excessive or due to poor hiring practices, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses associated with the new manager's training. This is a standard practice in the franchise industry, where franchisees typically bear the costs of training their personnel.
