What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchised restaurant must be under the direct, full-time, day-to-day supervision of a designated manager. If the franchisee is a business entity, they will select an individual to be the designated manager. Monicals Pizza may require that the individual selected be an owner of the franchise.
The designated manager must attend and satisfactorily complete Monicals Pizza's initial training program before the franchised restaurant opens. If the designated manager is replaced, the replacement must also satisfactorily complete the approved training program. The franchisee must keep Monicals Pizza informed of the identity of the designated manager at all times.
This requirement ensures that each Monicals Pizza location is run by someone who has been properly trained in the Monicals Pizza system. This protects the brand's reputation and ensures a consistent customer experience. It is common practice in the franchise industry to require managers to complete training programs to maintain brand standards and operational efficiency.
