What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be asked to provide content for the company's internet marketing initiatives. However, any content provided is subject to Monicals Pizza's approval before it is posted. Franchisees must also adhere to the company's intranet and internet usage rules, policies, and requirements.
Monicals Pizza retains sole authority over internet marketing strategies, including website management, domain names, online identifiers, keywords, search engine optimization, banner ads, meta-tags, auction sites, e-commerce, and co-branding arrangements. This control extends to the use of trademarks online, domain name registration, directory addresses, search terms, and meta-tags.
While franchisees are permitted to engage in internet marketing to collect email addresses and cellphone numbers for their own email and text marketing campaigns, they must obtain prior written consent from Monicals Pizza for any other internet marketing activities. This ensures that all online marketing efforts align with the brand's overall strategy and standards.
