What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Monicals Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, all Monicals Pizza restaurants owned by an affiliate or by the company itself will contribute to the marketing fund. These contributions will be similar to those required of franchisees.

Monicals Pizza may develop a System-wide marketing fund, and franchisees are required to contribute to it. The exact percentage of contribution will be determined and may be adjusted periodically by Monicals Pizza. The funds will be used for various advertising and promotional activities, including print, television, radio, and internet advertisements. Monicals Pizza controls the creative concepts, materials, and media used, as well as the placement and allocation of advertisements.

The marketing fund will be maintained in a separate account from Monicals Pizza's general funds and will not be used for operating expenses, except for reasonable administrative costs and overhead. Monicals Pizza intends for the marketing fund to be perpetual and will use any interest or earnings of the fund before using current contributions. Franchisees should be aware that Monicals Pizza does not guarantee any franchisee will directly benefit from the placement of advertising by the marketing fund in proportion to their contribution.
