What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Designated Manager must attend and successfully complete the initial training program to the Franchisor's satisfaction. This training must be completed at least twelve weeks before the restaurant opens. The Monicals Pizza training program covers the operation and administration of the franchised restaurant, including food preparation, sales and marketing, financial controls, quality standards, customer service, record keeping, and reporting procedures. The franchisor may also require additional training at their discretion.

Monicals Pizza does not charge tuition for the initial training program. However, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred by the franchisee and their personnel while attending the training. These expenses include travel, room and board, and employee salaries.

This initial training is a crucial step for franchisees to learn the Monicals Pizza system and ensure consistent quality and service. Failing to complete the training program could delay the opening of the restaurant or even result in termination of the franchise agreement.
