What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Monicals Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can renew their franchise agreement for up to 3 additional terms. Each of these renewal terms is for a period of 5 years.
However, the ability to renew is contingent upon meeting certain requirements. Monicals Pizza may refuse renewal if the franchisee fails to meet these conditions.
To qualify for renewal, a Monicals Pizza franchisee must have substantially complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement, made necessary capital expenditures to maintain uniformity within the Monicals Pizza system, and satisfied all monetary obligations owed to the company. Additionally, the franchisee must not be in default of any provision of the Franchise Agreement or any other agreement with Monicals Pizza, provide timely written notice of their intent to renew, and sign the current Franchise Agreement, which may contain materially different terms and conditions than the original agreement. The franchisee must also comply with current qualifications and training requirements and sign a General Release in a form satisfactory to Monicals Pizza.
