What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to solely rely on the advice given by the franchisor. While Monicals Pizza will periodically advise and offer general guidance through various communication methods, the franchisee is expected to use their own judgment in making business decisions. This guidance is based on the franchisor's and other franchisees' experiences in operating Monicals Pizza restaurants and may include knowledge related to authorized services or products, operational methods, accounting procedures, and marketing and sales strategies.

Monicals Pizza may also make periodic visits to the franchised restaurant to provide assistance or guidance on various aspects of the operation and management. They may prepare written reports outlining suggested changes or improvements, as well as detailing any deficiencies. The franchisor will also make available operations assistance and ongoing training as deemed necessary.

This indicates that while Monicals Pizza offers support and guidance, the ultimate responsibility for business decisions rests with the franchisee. This is a common arrangement in franchising, where franchisees are expected to operate their businesses independently while adhering to the franchisor's system standards. Prospective franchisees should consider this aspect and be prepared to exercise their own judgment while leveraging the support provided by Monicals Pizza.
