What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Monicals Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the management skills and administrative procedures training takes place at their headquarters in Bradley, Illinois, or at another location that they designate. The training program for management skills, administrative procedures, and new store openings consists of 40 hours of training.
Monicals Pizza offers this initial training program when a new franchise location is expected to open. The franchisee must designate a manager who is required to complete the initial training to Monicals Pizza's satisfaction, approximately 12 weeks before the restaurant opens. The franchisee, or at least one individual franchisee if not the same person as the manager, must also complete the initial training program before Monicals Pizza approves the opening date.
Two assistants chosen by the franchisee may also attend the training at their option. Monicals Pizza does not charge for the initial training; however, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses for themselves and any attendees. The franchisee is also responsible for training their own employees and other management personnel.
