What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Monicals Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the 40 hours of Management Skills and Administrative Procedures training takes place at Monicals Pizza's headquarters in Bradley, Illinois, or at another location that they designate.
This initial training program covers the material aspects of operating a Monicals Pizza franchised restaurant. A designated manager must complete the initial training approximately 12 weeks before the restaurant opens. Both the designated manager and at least one franchisee must complete the training to Monicals Pizza's satisfaction before they will approve an opening date for the franchised restaurant. Two assistants can also attend the training at the franchisee's option.
Monicals Pizza does not charge for the initial training program; however, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses for themselves and any attendees. The franchisee is also responsible for training their own employees and other management personnel. The initial training is in addition to the on-site opening assistance that Monicals Pizza provides.
