The training will include the following instructional materials: Access to the Monical's Pizza Confidential Operations Manual and other material which may be included at a later time. The training will occur at our headquarters in Illinois or another location we designate, and at your franchised restaurant location. The dates and location of the training will be communicated to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Monicals Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the dates and location of the initial training program will be communicated to the franchisee. The training will occur at the Monicals Pizza headquarters in Illinois or at another designated location, as well as at the franchisee's restaurant location.
The initial training program covers material aspects of operating the franchised restaurant. A designated manager must complete the initial training approximately 12 weeks before the restaurant opens. Both the designated manager and at least one franchisee (if not the same person) must complete the training before Monicals Pizza approves an opening date. Two assistants may also attend the training at the franchisee's option.
Monicals Pizza does not charge for the initial training program. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel costs and living expenses for themselves and any attendees. The franchisee is also responsible for training their own employees and other management personnel. If a designated manager is replaced, the new manager has 60 days to complete the training program. There is no fee for training a new manager unless manager changes are excessive or due to poor hiring practices.
