We have not collected any marketing fund contributions. As a result, we have not spent any money from the System-wide marketing fund. Except for our reasonable administrative costs, overhead related to the administration of the marketing fund and salaries of any marketing personnel that may be
employed by us, we do not and will not receive compensation for providing goods or services to the fund. No marketing funds are used for solicitation of new franchisees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Monicals Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, Monicals Pizza has not collected any marketing fund contributions to date. Because no contributions have been collected, Monicals Pizza has not spent any money from a system-wide marketing fund.
Monicals Pizza states that, other than reasonable administrative costs, overhead related to administering the marketing fund, and salaries of any marketing personnel, they do not and will not receive compensation for providing goods or services to the fund. The FDD also states that no marketing funds are used for the solicitation of new franchisees.
Monicals Pizza may develop a system-wide marketing fund in the future, and franchisees would be required to contribute to it. The exact percentage franchisees must contribute will be set and may be adjusted periodically by Monicals Pizza. Monicals Pizza will control the creative concepts, materials, media, placement, and allocation of advertisements. They may use print, television, radio, Internet, or other media for advertisements and promotions. However, there is no guarantee that any particular franchisee will benefit directly or in proportion to their contribution from the placement of advertising by the marketing fund.
