What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Moe's Southwest Grill's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Standards' encompass a wide array of guidelines, specifications, rules, procedures, policies, methods, requirements, and directives established by the company. These standards cover various aspects of the restaurant's operation, including recipes, ingredients, food and beverage preparation, food storage, approved suppliers, interior and exterior design and décor, sanitation, maintenance, and equipment.

These Standards are primarily detailed in Moe's Southwest Grill's confidential operations manuals, referred to as the "Manuals," and may also be communicated in writing outside of the manuals. As a franchisee, you are obligated to adhere to these standards to ensure consistency and quality across all Moe's Southwest Grill locations.

Moe's Southwest Grill retains the right to modify, improve, add to, and further develop these standards over time. This means that franchisees must stay updated with any changes to the Manuals and other written communications from the franchisor to remain compliant with the System. This flexibility allows Moe's Southwest Grill to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and industry best practices, but it also places a responsibility on the franchisee to continuously update their operations and training programs.
