What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Moes Southwest Grill's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company retains sole authority over its advertising programs. Specifically, Moes Southwest Grill has sole control over the creative concepts, materials, and media used in its advertising programs, as well as the placement and allocation of advertising. This means franchisees must adhere to the advertising and promotional content provided or approved by the company.

This control extends to various forms of advertising, including digital marketing. Franchisees must obtain written approval from Moes Southwest Grill for any advertising and promotional content they intend to use, ensuring it aligns with the company's standards and policies. Moes Southwest Grill also reserves the right to approve or disapprove any advertising content and the media in which it is used.

Moes Southwest Grill or its affiliates have the sole right to control all aspects of digital marketing related to the restaurants. This includes websites, social media accounts, and other forms of digital advertising. The company may also establish temporary or permanent promotional campaigns, which franchisees are required to participate in at their own cost.

This level of control is typical in franchising, allowing Moes Southwest Grill to maintain brand consistency and ensure that advertising efforts are aligned with the company's overall marketing strategy. However, it also means that franchisees have limited autonomy in creating their own advertising campaigns and must rely on the franchisor's expertise and resources.
