To be designated as a Certified Training Location, a Franchised Business must (1) meet compliance scores that we specify, (2) fully comply with our then-current Standards, (3) employ the minimum number of Managers specified in Section 12.7 (Your Participation; Manager), in addition to the Certified Training Manager, and (4) meet any other requirements that we may specify from time to time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Moes Southwest Grill FDD, if a franchisee and its affiliates operate two or more franchised businesses, Moes Southwest Grill may require or permit them to provide the Management Training Program to their trainees. However, before they can do so, one or more of their franchised businesses must be certified by Moes Southwest Grill as a Certified Training Location.

To be designated as a Certified Training Location, a Moes Southwest Grill franchised business must meet specific requirements. First, it must achieve compliance scores specified by Moes Southwest Grill. Second, the franchised business must fully comply with the then-current standards set by Moes Southwest Grill. Third, it must employ the minimum number of managers as specified in Section 12.7 of the franchise agreement, in addition to having a Certified Training Manager. If Moes Southwest Grill withholds or revokes certification of a Certified Training Location, they may require trainees to attend the Management Training Program at another designated location and may charge the then-current training fee for such training.
