What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Moe's Southwest Grill's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the relationship between Moe's Southwest Grill and its franchisees in Washington is governed by the Washington Franchise Investment Protection Act, chapter 19.100 RCW. This law takes precedence in the event of any conflict of laws.

The Washington Addendum modifies the Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement, and all related agreements if the offer to sell a franchise is accepted in Washington, the purchaser is a resident of Washington, or the franchised business is located or operated in Washington.

Additionally, RCW 19.100.180, which concerns the Franchisee Bill of Rights, may supersede provisions in the franchise agreement, especially regarding termination and renewal. Court decisions may also override the franchise agreement concerning the franchisee's relationship with Moe's Southwest Grill. Franchise agreement provisions are subject to state law.
