What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Moes Southwest Grill charges a fee for the Management Training Program for the third or subsequent restaurants that a franchisee (or their affiliates) opens. The fee for this training program is $7,500. This fee covers the cost of the Management Training Program for the Required Trainees.
Moes Southwest Grill also charges a fee in certain situations where additional training is needed or requested. If the franchisee elects to bring additional trainees beyond the Required Trainees, if the Required Trainees are trained in separate sessions, or if any Required Trainees fail to complete the program and re-enroll (or are replaced), Moes Southwest Grill charges a training fee. This additional training fee is currently $250 per trainee per day.
It is important to note that the Required Trainees must successfully complete the Management Training Program at least one week before the restaurant's scheduled opening. If the opening date is changed and the trainees completed the program more than 120 days before the revised date, Moes Southwest Grill may require additional training, subject to the daily training fee. The franchisee is responsible for all wages, travel, and living expenses for themselves and their trainees during the training programs.
