What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Moes Southwest Grill's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the current training fee for each trainee is $250 per day. This fee applies if you elect to bring additional trainees beyond the required ones, if your required trainees are trained in separate sessions, if any trainee fails to complete the program and re-enrolls, or if Moes Southwest Grill provides training to subsequent trainees.
The training fee can be increased, but the increase is limited. Moes Southwest Grill states that the fee may be increased each calendar year by no more than the Allowed Adjustment. The FDD does not define "Allowed Adjustment," so it is important for a prospective franchisee to clarify with Moes Southwest Grill how this adjustment is calculated and what factors influence it.
Moes Southwest Grill also specifies that you are responsible for all expenses incurred by you and your personnel for any training programs. These expenses include travel, food, lodging, compensation, and the cost of uniforms for trainees attending the Management Training Program. Additionally, if you fail to cancel scheduled training without at least 14 days' prior notice, or if you or your trainees are not prepared to successfully participate in any scheduled training, Moes Southwest Grill may charge you the cost of conducting the originally scheduled training, including training fees and travel expenses incurred by their representatives, and require you to pay the training fee again for the rescheduled training.
