What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Marble Slab Creamery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, in the event of a franchise transfer, Marble Slab Creamery can require additional training. Specifically, the transferee's operating partner, manager, and any other individuals reasonably designated by Marble Slab Creamery must complete any training programs then in effect for Marble Slab Creamery franchisees.

This training is at the transferee's expense and must be completed under the terms and conditions that Marble Slab Creamery reasonably requires. Furthermore, the training must be completed before the franchise transfer becomes effective.

This requirement ensures that the new management and operating staff are properly trained in the Marble Slab Creamery system, maintaining brand standards and operational consistency. For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared to cover the costs of training for their team during a transfer and ensuring that all designated personnel complete the training before taking over the franchise.
