What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Marble Slab Creamery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Marble Slab Creamery does not compensate public figures to promote its franchise. However, the document notes that some franchises may be owned by public figures. These public figures may promote their individual stores and the Marble Slab Creamery brand in general, but they do so without receiving any compensation from Marble Slab Creamery itself.
This policy means that franchisees cannot expect Marble Slab Creamery to fund endorsements from celebrities or other public figures to drive business to their specific locations. Any promotional activities involving public figures would be at the franchisee's own initiative and expense, without direct financial support from the franchisor.
While Marble Slab Creamery does not directly pay public figures, the fact that some franchisees are public figures who promote their own stores suggests that Marble Slab Creamery recognizes the potential value of celebrity endorsements. However, it leaves the responsibility and cost of securing such endorsements to the individual franchisees who may have those connections.
