What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Marble Slab Creamery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for expenses related to quarterly training and status meetings. While Marble Slab Creamery provides the instructors and training material, the franchisee or their employees must cover all other expenses.

These expenses include transportation, lodging, meals, and any wages for the franchisee, operating partner, manager, assistant managers, and other employees that Marble Slab Creamery specifies to attend the quarterly training and status meetings. This means a franchisee must budget not only for the time spent at these meetings but also for all associated travel and accommodation costs.

This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where the franchisor provides the training expertise, but the franchisee bears the direct costs of attending. Prospective Marble Slab Creamery franchisees should factor these ongoing training expenses into their financial projections to ensure they can meet these obligations.
