What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Marble Slab Creamery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise fee for a Traditional Restaurant, Non-Traditional Restaurant, or Standard Co-Brand Restaurant is $25,000. If a franchisee is permitted to operate a Satellite location, they must pay a Satellite fee of $15,000 per Satellite location. This fee is paid when signing the Franchise Agreement or Satellite Addendum and is considered fully earned and non-refundable by Marble Slab Creamery upon payment.

For a Multi-Unit Restaurant Agreement, a development fee is required, which is currently $25,000 multiplied by the number of Marble Slab Creamery Restaurants the franchisee agrees to open. However, the disclosure notes that certain parties to Multi-Unit Restaurant Agreements may not be required to pay this development fee. The development fee, franchise fee, and satellite fee contribute to the overall initial investment required to start a Marble Slab Creamery franchise.

Prospective franchisees should note that these fees are in addition to other initial investment costs, such as grand opening marketing, travel and living expenses for training, and other opening inventory. It is important for potential franchisees to carefully review all components of the initial investment and understand the terms and conditions associated with each fee, as outlined in Item 5 of the FDD.
