What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Marble Slab Creamery Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise fee for a Standard Co-Brand Restaurant is $25,000 for each brand. This fee is payable when you sign the Franchise Agreement.
This means that if a prospective franchisee chooses to open a Marble Slab Creamery Standard Co-Brand Restaurant, they will need to pay a franchise fee of $25,000 to Marble Slab Creamery, as well as a franchise fee to the co-brand they are partnering with. For example, if Marble Slab Creamery is co-branded with Great American Cookies, the franchisee would pay $25,000 to Marble Slab Creamery and $25,000 to Great American Cookies, for a total of $50,000 in franchise fees.
The franchise fee is considered fully earned by Marble Slab Creamery upon payment and is non-refundable. This is a common practice in franchising, as the fee compensates the franchisor for granting the franchise rights and providing initial support. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor this non-refundable fee into their initial investment calculations and to carefully consider the financial implications before signing the Franchise Agreement.
