Answer from 2025 FDD Document

In addition, on a limited basis, certain of our affiliates currently offer franchises that you may co-brand with a Restaurant. Approval for a co-brand is dependent on several criteria, including but not limited to space allocation, signage, minimum brand requirements and minimum product offerings. You should request the disclosure documents for those brands for information on cobranding opportunities. We may offer other co-branding opportunities in the future.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Marble Slab Creamery FDD, approval for a co-brand is dependent on criteria such as space allocation, signage, minimum brand requirements, and minimum product offerings. This means that if a franchisee is looking to co-brand a Marble Slab Creamery location with another franchise, the franchisor will evaluate the proposed location based on these factors.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the size of the location, how the signage is displayed, what the minimum requirements are for the Marble Slab Creamery brand, and what the minimum product offerings are will all be considered before a co-brand is approved. It is important to note that the FDD states that these criteria are not limited to just these items, meaning that there may be other factors that are considered as well.

It is also important to note that the FDD states that the franchisee should request the disclosure documents for those brands for information on co-branding opportunities. This means that if a franchisee is looking to co-brand with another brand, they should request the FDD for that brand as well to get a better understanding of the co-branding opportunities that are available.
