What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Management Recruiters Franchise Disclosure Document, the notice period for termination varies depending on the location of the franchise and the reason for termination. For franchisees governed by Minnesota law, Management Recruiters must provide 90 days' notice of termination, except in certain specified cases, along with 60 days to cure any breach of contract.
However, for a Hire Quest franchise, either party may terminate the contract with 30 days prior written notice.
For terminations due to a franchisee's failure to comply with the terms of the agreement, Management Recruiters will provide a 30-day period to cure the breach. If the breach is not resolved within this period, Management Recruiters may terminate the agreement with written notice, effective upon the expiration of the cure period. In certain events of default, Management Recruiters can terminate the agreement immediately without any opportunity to cure the default.
