What This Means (2024 FDD)

Based on the 2024 Management Recruiters Franchise Disclosure Document, Section 9 of the Franchise Agreement outlines several obligations for the franchisee. These include dedicating full time and best efforts to the business, potentially appointing a General Manager, and adhering to specific operational standards and legal compliance.

Specifically, franchisees must devote their full time and best efforts to operating the Franchise Business to achieve optimum business results, committing at least 32 hours per week solely to the operation and success of the Franchise Business. If the franchisee or its principals cannot act as General Manager, they must hire one who meets the franchisor's standards and devotes full time and best efforts to the business, not engaging in other business activities without the franchisor's consent. Franchisees must also offer only approved services, use the Marks as they relate to the System as approved by the franchisor, and comply with the MRI Code of Conduct.

Furthermore, franchisees are required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. These obligations appear to be continuing in nature, as they govern the ongoing operation of the franchise throughout the term of the agreement. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Management Recruiters whether any of these obligations end upon termination of the franchise agreement.
