We claim copyrights and other proprietary rights in our Manual and other materials we provide to you for the operation of your Franchised Business. You may use all of these materials while you are a member. You and your employees may only use them for the operation of the Franchised Business. You must keep them confidential. You may not use them in any other business or provide them or copies of them to any person other than your employees. You must return them to us if your franchise agreement is terminated or expires.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Management Recruiters's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly restricted in their use of copyrighted materials. The FDD states that franchisees and their employees are permitted to use these materials solely for the operation of their Management Recruiters franchised business.
This restriction means a franchisee cannot use the copyrighted materials for any other business ventures they may have or start. The materials must also be kept confidential, and franchisees cannot provide them or copies to anyone outside of their employees. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the brand's intellectual property and maintain consistency across all franchise locations.
Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must return all copyrighted materials to Management Recruiters. This ensures that the franchisee no longer has access to the brand's proprietary information after the agreement ends. Franchisees must also notify Management Recruiters immediately if they become aware of any infringement or challenges to the use of the copyrights, and Management Recruiters will take action as they deem appropriate.
