What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 FDD, Management Recruiters handles the billing of customers for all Contract Staffing Services provided by the franchise business. Specifically, the franchisee is responsible for entering all billing and payroll information for temporary and contract employees into Management Recruiters' billing and payroll system on a timely basis. However, Management Recruiters itself then bills the customers for these services and collects all payments.

This arrangement has several implications for a prospective Management Recruiters franchisee. Firstly, the franchisee is relieved of the direct responsibility for invoicing and payment collection, which can reduce administrative overhead. Secondly, all payments and accounts receivable that arise from both regular and temporary employee placement services are the exclusive property of Management Recruiters. This means the franchisee must ensure that all payments are directed to Management Recruiters and cannot use these funds for their own purposes.

Furthermore, the FDD emphasizes the importance of the franchisee's role in assisting with collections. While Management Recruiters handles the initial billing, the franchisee is expected to endeavor in good faith to collect all billings made to customers, following the collection procedures and policies outlined in the Brand Standards Materials. This collaborative approach suggests that while the franchisor manages the billing process, the franchisee's local relationships and efforts are crucial for ensuring timely payments.

In summary, while the Management Recruiters franchisee is responsible for providing the necessary billing and payroll information, the franchisor takes on the responsibility of billing customers and collecting payments for Contract Staffing Services. This division of labor aims to streamline operations and ensure that financial processes are centrally managed by Management Recruiters, while still relying on the franchisee's active participation in the collection process.
