What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Management Recruiters' 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are recommended 'best practices' for franchisees to follow regarding communication with employees of other Management Recruiters franchise locations. Representatives of a Management Recruiters franchise should not discuss employment opportunities with employees of other franchisees without first obtaining permission from the owner of that franchise.
Additionally, Management Recruiters suggests franchisees avoid discussions about compensation, the costs of operating the franchise, or business structures that could conflict with current owners. This is likely to prevent misunderstandings or the sharing of sensitive business information that could harm another franchisee's business.
If a Management Recruiters franchisee violates these guidelines and recruits an employee from another franchise without permission, the franchise may be responsible for non-compete fees to release the employee or for an override payment to the original owner. They may also face disciplinary actions through the rep council ethics committee. These measures are in place to protect the interests of individual franchisees and maintain ethical standards within the Management Recruiters network.
