What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Lees Famous Recipe FDD, each Lees Famous Recipe restaurant within the Development Area must be opened and operated utilizing the Marks and System. The Marks refer to the service marks and trademarks used in operating the System, such as "Lee's Famous Recipe®," "Famous Recipe®," and "Lee's: Famous for Chicken®". The System includes the methods for preparing, storing, and serving food and beverage items, along with distinctive décor, products, equipment, supplies, confidential information, business techniques, methods, procedures, and sales promotion programs.
This means that franchisees must strictly adhere to the standards and guidelines set by Lees Famous Recipe, ensuring consistency across all locations within their designated development area. This encompasses everything from the specific recipes used to the layout and design of the restaurant.
By adhering to the System, franchisees contribute to the overall brand recognition and customer experience associated with Lees Famous Recipe. Failure to comply with these standards could result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
