What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must complete a form with their banking information. This form requires the company name, the name and address of the financial institution, the routing number, and the account number.

By completing this form, the franchisee authorizes Loyalty Business Services LLC to initiate entries to their checking or savings accounts, in accordance with the terms of the franchise agreement. This authorization remains in effect until the franchisee provides written notice to cancel it, allowing a reasonable opportunity for Ledgers to act on the instructions.

The franchisee can stop payment of any entry by notifying the financial institution at least three days before the account is scheduled to be charged. Additionally, the franchisee can have the amount of an erroneous charge immediately credited to their account for up to fifteen days following the issuance of their statement or up to sixty days after the deposit, whichever occurs first. While the document specifies the information required and the authorization terms, it does not explicitly state a deadline for providing this banking information.
