What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Ledgers Franchise Disclosure Document, successful completion of the initial training program is required to operate a Ledgers franchise. The FDD specifies that the franchisee, or in the case of an entity, its principals, must attend initial training. Ledgers will advise the franchisee during or immediately after initial training if they have successfully completed the course.
Ledgers holds Initial Training classes monthly. The instructional material includes the Manual, lectures, demonstrations, discussions, practice and forms. While Ledgers does not charge for the initial training itself, the franchisee is responsible for all travel, lodging, transportation, meal costs, and their employees' wages to attend Initial Training.
Ledgers provides the Initial Training program in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, another designated training location, or online, at their choosing. The instructors who teach the initial training program are Tyler Wynn and Heather Williams. Guest Instructors may also assist with Initial Training, with at least one (1) year's experience in the subject taught.
