Computer and Cash Register Systems:
You must comply with our computer hardware, and software specifications. At present, we require you to have an internet connection, email, and the following hardware and software:
Hardware
- -2-5 desktop computers and monitors depending on the size of the office
- -at least 1 printer, scanner, copier
- -dedicated server
These items can be purchased for approximately $2,500 - $4,000.
Software
You will also need to subscribe to such software as we specify; presently the following software is specified or recommended at the monthly costs listed:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Ledgers Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to comply with the franchisor's specifications for computer hardware and software. Currently, Ledgers specifies or recommends that franchisees subscribe to certain software programs. These include Loyalty Accounting System powered by Intuit, which provides bookkeeping and accounting functionality, Dext for receipt capture and recognition integrated with Intuit, and Financial Cents, a CRM platform.
The approximate monthly costs for these software subscriptions are also outlined in the FDD. The Loyalty Accounting System and Dext each cost approximately $30 per month, while Financial Cents costs approximately $212.40 per month. These costs are subject to change, as Ledgers does not establish the prices set by third-party providers but does attempt to negotiate pricing for the benefit of its franchisees.
Prospective Ledgers franchisees should note that the software license types and service providers can change at any time. Additionally, franchisees are responsible for maintaining their computer systems in good working order and must replace, update, or upgrade their hardware systems as required by Ledgers. The estimated annual cost of optional or required maintenance, updating, upgrading, or support contracts to the computer systems is approximately $1,000. Ledgers also requires independent access to the information generated or stored in the franchisee's computer systems, including customer, transaction, and operational information, and mandates unrestricted electronic access to these systems and security camera systems.
