We do not know of any superior prior rights or infringing uses that could materially affect your use of our Marks anywhere.
We reserve the right to supplement and modify the marks that you may or may not use in connection with the operations of your Franchised Business. You may only use the Licensed Marks as authorized by us in writing and under the terms of your Franchise Agreement. You may not use the Licensed Marks in the name of any corporate entity that you establish.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Ledgers retains the right to modify the trademarks that franchisees are permitted to use. Specifically, Ledgers reserves the right to supplement and modify the marks that a franchisee may or may not use in connection with the operations of their franchised business.
Ledgers also has the right to require franchisees to adopt and use new marks if Ledgers discontinues or modifies its existing marks. The franchisee is responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of adopting and using these new marks. This means a Ledgers franchisee may need to update signage, marketing materials, and other branded items at their own cost if Ledgers decides to change its branding.
Furthermore, franchisees are only allowed to use the licensed marks as authorized by Ledgers in writing and under the terms of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are prohibited from using the licensed marks in the name of any corporate entity they establish. This ensures that Ledgers maintains control over its brand identity and how it is represented by its franchisees.
