What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can initially operate their business from home. However, Ledgers requires that the franchisee maintains a virtual office to meet clients as needed. Alternatively, the franchisee can secure a traditional commercial office space within their designated territory.

This flexibility allows new Ledgers franchisees to minimize initial overhead costs by avoiding the expense of renting a commercial office space. The virtual office requirement ensures that franchisees have a professional setting to meet with clients, maintaining the brand's image.

Prospective franchisees should consider the costs associated with setting up and maintaining a virtual office, including technology, meeting space rentals, and administrative support. They should also evaluate whether a home-based operation aligns with their business goals and client expectations, or if a traditional office space would be more suitable for their needs.
