What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, either the franchisee or their Business Manager is required to attend the Annual Convention. While there is no admission fee for the Ledgers Annual Convention, the franchisee is responsible for all travel-related expenses such as lodging, meals, and transportation.
Additionally, Ledgers may require franchisees to obtain materials for use in their business, and the franchisee will be responsible for any charges associated with these materials. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for travel and accommodation but also for potential material costs mandated by Ledgers.
This requirement ensures that someone in a management position stays informed about the latest developments, best practices, and any changes within the Ledgers franchise system. It also provides an opportunity for networking and collaboration with other franchisees. However, the franchisee must factor in these recurring expenses when evaluating the overall cost of operating a Ledgers franchise.
