What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Ledgers Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for obtaining signage that conforms to the templates and specifications provided by Ledgers. If a franchisee needs to modify the provided signage templates or specifications to meet their specific needs or due to restrictions at their office location, they must obtain written approval from Ledgers.
To get this approval, the franchisee must submit a request to Ledgers' operations department. The FDD states that Ledgers typically responds to these requests within five days. This process ensures that any modifications to the signage maintain the brand's image and standards while accommodating the franchisee's local requirements.
This requirement is important for maintaining brand consistency across all Ledgers locations. While franchisees have some autonomy in setting up their office, they must adhere to Ledgers' standards for signage to ensure a uniform brand image. The turnaround time of five days for approval allows franchisees to proceed with their signage plans in a timely manner, minimizing potential delays in opening or updating their office.
