What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice, authorization, consent, or other communication required or permitted under the Franchise Agreement must be in writing. These notices can be delivered by mail or courier with postage prepaid, personally, or by facsimile to Ledgers' President at their corporate office located at 780 Lynnhaven Parkway, Suite 240, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. The phone number is 888-268-0321.
Ledgers may also provide notice to the franchisee in the same manner at the address indicated with the franchisee's signature on the agreement or any more current address Ledgers has on file. Additionally, Ledgers may provide notice to the franchisee via e-mail.
This requirement ensures a clear record of all communications between Ledgers and its franchisees, which can be crucial for resolving disputes or ensuring compliance with the agreement's terms. The ability to send notices via mail, courier, fax, or email provides flexibility, but the written format is mandatory. Franchisees should keep accurate records of all notices received and sent to Ledgers to protect their interests and ensure they meet all contractual obligations.
