What documents will Ledgers provide for use in my Ledgers Franchised Business regarding information access?

You will allow us to have independent access to the information that will be generated or stored in your computer system or remotely by online cloud storage, arising out of or related to the Franchise Business, which includes prospect, financial, and operational information. We will provide an engagement letter and consent form for use in your Franchised Business. It is your responsibility to comply with the law in determining the desire and scope of a Clients consent to share Client data and to refrain from sharing any data without consent.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Ledgers will provide an engagement letter and consent form for use in your franchised business.
Ledgers requires independent access to information generated or stored in your computer system or online cloud storage related to the franchise business. This includes prospect, financial, and operational information. It is the franchisee's responsibility to comply with the law in determining the desire and scope of a Client’s consent to share Client data and to refrain from sharing any data without consent.
Ledgers also reserves the right to review your business operations in person, by mail, or electronically to ensure operational compliance in accordance with their Manual. They may also access records stored on online cloud storage to ensure operational compliance. If Ledgers requests access to information stored on-site, you must provide copies within five business days of their request. This includes tax returns and bank statements that may show revenues from the Franchised Business. Alternatively, Ledgers may require review-only access to all bank accounts used by you receiving deposits arising from or related to the Franchise Business.
