Where does Ledgers conduct the Initial Training program?

Initial Training. We provide an Initial Training program in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, another designated training location, or online, at our choosing. The topics covered in Initial Training are described in the chart below in this Item 11. (Franchise Agreement, Section 4.1., 4.2).
Note 1- We hold initial training in Virginia Beach, Virginia, another designated training center, or online, at our choosing.
We hold Initial Training classes monthly. The instructional material includes the Manual, lectures, demonstrations, discussions, practice and forms.
We do not charge you to attend Initial Training, but you are responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, meal costs, and your employees' wages to attend Initial Training.
We require that you or, in the case of an entity, your principals, attend Initial Training. You may enroll your management personnel upon our approval. Your successful completion of Initial Training to our satisfaction is required to operate a Franchised Business. We advise you during or immediately after Initial Training if you have successfully completed the course.
Additional Training or Seminars. We may elect to offer and require you to attend, either live or electronically, additional training and seminars that we may offer. You must pay any travel and living expenses that you incur to attend training.
The following Instructors teach our initial training program: Tyler Wynn and Heather Williams. Guest Instructors may also assist with Initial Training, with at least one (1) year's experience in the subject taught.

Ledgers holds Initial Training classes monthly. The instructional material includes the Manual, lectures, demonstrations, discussions, practice and forms. The FDD also mentions that Tyler Wynn and Heather Williams are the instructors for the initial training program, and guest instructors with at least one year of experience in the subject taught may also assist.
Prospective franchisees should note that while Ledgers does not charge tuition for the Initial Training, franchisees are responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, transportation, meal costs, and employee wages to attend the training. The FDD states that either the franchisee or, in the case of an entity, its principals, must attend and successfully complete the Initial Training to operate a Ledgers franchise. Management personnel may also be enrolled upon approval from Ledgers. Franchisees can expect to be advised during or immediately after Initial Training if they have successfully completed the course.
Ledgers may also elect to offer additional training and seminars, either live or electronically, which franchisees may be required to attend. Franchisees are responsible for any travel and living expenses incurred to attend these additional training sessions.
