What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement specifies that Ledgers, referred to as "Franchisor", "we", "us", or "our", will communicate directly with the franchisee, identified as "Franchisee", "you", or "your". This establishes a direct contractual relationship between Ledgers and the franchisee.
This means that all official communications, directives, and agreements will be between Ledgers and the individual or entity that owns the franchise. Franchisees should pay close attention to any communications from Ledgers, as these communications could contain important information about the operation of the franchise, changes to the system, or other important matters.
It is important to note that while Ledgers may use area representatives to recruit and support franchisees, these representatives do not have management responsibility related to the franchise. Therefore, while a franchisee may interact with an area representative, the primary communication channel for official matters remains directly between Ledgers and the franchisee.
