What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Ledgers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the location of the Initial Training program is determined by Ledgers. The FDD states that the Initial Training program is provided in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, another designated training location, or online, at Ledgers' choosing.
This means that as a prospective franchisee, you do not have control over where you will receive your initial training. It could be in person in Canada or another designated location, or it could be online. Ledgers has the sole discretion to decide the training location.
While the FDD specifies that initial training will be provided within sixty (60) days of executing the Franchise Agreement, franchisees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, transportation, and meal costs to attend Initial Training. Therefore, the location of the training can have a significant impact on a franchisee's expenses. It is important to factor in these potential costs when evaluating the Ledgers franchise opportunity.
