What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Learningrx Franchise Disclosure Document, Learningrx, at its sole discretion, can require franchisees and their employees to attend additional training under specific circumstances. These circumstances arise if a franchisee fails to maintain the minimal performance standards or obtain and maintain the certifications required in the Operations Manual. This implies that franchisees must adhere to the standards and certification requirements outlined by Learningrx to avoid mandatory additional training.

Specifically, Learningrx will require a franchisee to participate in sales training if the franchisee's assessment to student rates falls below forty percent (40%). The assessment to student rate is determined based on the percentage of potential students assessed at the franchisee's center who actually become students at that center. If required to participate in sales training, the franchisee must take a minimum of four (4) ninety (90) minute sessions over at least three (3) months until the assessment to student rate reaches at least forty percent (40%).

Furthermore, directors who are new due to the transfer of the Learningrx center must also participate in sales training. This condition ensures that new management is adequately trained to meet Learningrx's standards. The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with attending any additional training, including travel and living expenses for themselves and their employees. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where the franchisor sets the training requirements, but the franchisee bears the cost.
