What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Learningrx Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Franchise Fee is considered fully earned upon the signing of the Franchise Agreement. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. The amount of the Initial Franchise Fee varies depending on the type of franchise. For a Micro Franchise, the fee is $30,000, while for a Standard Franchise, it is $45,000.

This means that once a prospective Learningrx franchisee signs the agreement, Learningrx has earned the fee and is under no obligation to return it, regardless of whether the franchisee ever opens a center or successfully operates the franchise. This is a standard practice in franchising, as the initial fee compensates the franchisor for the costs associated with granting the franchise, providing initial training and support, and setting up the franchisee in the system.

Given this non-refundable policy, prospective Learningrx franchisees should conduct thorough due diligence before signing the Franchise Agreement. This includes carefully reviewing the FDD, speaking with existing franchisees, and developing a detailed business plan. Understanding the obligations and risks associated with the franchise is crucial before committing to the agreement and paying the initial fee.
