What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Learningrx Franchise Disclosure Document, a proposed transferee is generally required to complete the training program for new franchisees. However, there are exceptions to this rule.
The training requirement is waived if the transferee is already a current Learningrx franchisee or an administrative staff member in good standing within the Learningrx system. To qualify for this waiver, the existing franchisee or staff member must have previously attended a full franchise training and met the current training requirements for a Learningrx center's staff.
If the transferee is required to attend the training program, they must also pay an Initial Training and Materials Fee. This fee is $10,000, but is reduced to $6,000 if the transferee is an existing Learningrx franchisee. Paying for, attending, and satisfactorily completing the training program is a condition for the transfer to be approved, ensuring that the new operator is properly equipped to run the Learningrx center according to the brand's standards.
