What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Learningrx may implement a centralized purchasing system and negotiate prices with suppliers. If Learningrx receives rebates from these suppliers, they reserve the right to use these funds at their sole discretion.
This means that as a Learningrx franchisee, you may not directly benefit from any rebates Learningrx receives from suppliers through the centralized purchasing system. Learningrx has the authority to decide how these funds are used, and they are not obligated to share them with franchisees.
This type of arrangement is not uncommon in franchising, where franchisors often negotiate with suppliers and retain any rebates or incentives. Prospective franchisees should consider this when evaluating the overall cost and potential profitability of a Learningrx franchise. It would be prudent to inquire with Learningrx about how these funds are typically used and whether they are reinvested in ways that benefit the franchise system as a whole.
