Additionally, we offer a Satellite Location Addendum, which is available to those existing franchisees that have been in operation for two years under a Franchise Agreement and whom we deem qualified, in our sole discretion, to operate a Satellite Location, to open one site in a location in accordance with the specifications in our Operations Manual ("Satellite Location"). What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees who qualify and are approved can open a satellite location. If a Learningrx franchisee opens a satellite location outside of their territory, they must pay a $5,000 satellite location fee. This fee is fully earned by Learningrx upon signing the addendum and is non-refundable.
Notably, franchisees can make one annual payment of $5,000 or twelve monthly payments of $450 for a satellite location outside of their territory. If the franchisee makes the annual payment of $5,000, Learningrx will apply $2,500 towards a future franchise agreement for the franchisee within the territory. This application may be renewed on an annual basis if approved by Learningrx in writing.
In contrast, if the Learningrx satellite location is within the franchisee's territory, a reduced satellite location fee of $2,400 is due only if the franchisee wants the satellite location listed on the Learningrx website. The standard Learningrx franchise agreement lasts for ten years, which is typical in the franchise industry.
